ABOUT
Born and raised in New Jersey, Seizasaur doesn’t know why
in the world he likes order so much. From crisp, clean edges, to carefully
collected groups, he’s a bit of a control freak and doesn’t mind that one bit. The work is a meditative process that allows his hands to create as his
mind wanders. Gaining inspiration from numbers and patterns, he carefully plots and calculates every move. Seizasaur holds a BFA in textiles from the Maryland
Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, where he graduated summa
cum laude. He has worked on projects ranging from research and development in
smart-camouflage for a military contractor – to curatorial work, producing more than thirty exhibitions – to leading
a major regional arts center – to education. He also plays guitar, rides a
bicycle, and collects long forgotten fruit jars, intrigued by the variety of
closure patents. His work has been exhibited in New Jersey, Maryland,
North Carolina, Georgia, and Germany, and is represented in several prominent
private collections.
